We Walk For Hope
A Caring Hands, Caring Hearts Initiative
Every October, Masjid Ul Haqq joins the nation in recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month — and this year, we’re walking for it.
We Walk For Hope is more than a walk. It’s a statement: that survivors are not alone, that our community sees them, and that healing is possible. Every step taken, every dollar given, moves us closer to a masjid and a community where safety, dignity, and support are guaranteed — not just hoped for.
“And do not lose hope in the mercy of Allah.” — Qur’an 12:87
Why We Walk
Domestic violence affects families in every community, including our own. Too often, survivors suffer in silence — afraid to speak up, unsure where to turn, or worried about being believed. Caring Hands, Caring Hearts exists to change that, offering our sisters and brothers a safe place to seek help, healing, and hope.
